Prophet/Evangelist R.O. Ajayi experienced a miraculous divine encounter in 1983 during a critical period in his life. God appeared to him and gave him a divine calling to ministry. In complete obedience to this heavenly mandate, he surrendered everything to follow Christ. In 1985, he founded The Gospel Trumpet of the Kingdom of Christ, a prayer ministry in Ikare-Akoko, where he served as Group Leader. Three years later in 1986, under the direct leading of the Holy Spirit, he was sent to Ikaram to establish The Latter Day Church of Jesus Christ, making Ikaram the Church Headquarters. By God's grace, Prophet Ajayi has subdued powers of principalities in the land and surrounding regions. Today, the Church continues to spread with branches in Ondo State and Kogi State. He faithfully serves as the Church President, proclaiming Christ's glorious return and empowering believers to fulfill their divine calling. Prophet/Evangelist R.O. Ajayi rested in the Lord on February 25, 2025, while faithfully serving in the ministry. We are deeply grateful for the life he lived and the impact of his service. To God be all the glory.
